I work with senior leadership teams when strategy or deal intent is clear, but execution confidence is fragile. Designs exist on paper, advice has been given, yet value realisation is stalling — because competing priorities, delivery constraints, or unclear accountabilities mean the organisation cannot execute what it has committed to.

My focus is the small number of structural choices that drive disproportionate impact: how decisions get made, who owns service delivery, how governance connects to management capacity, and where value leaks between what was designed and what actually operates. These choices matter more than organisation charts, process maps, or technology selections — which are outcomes of good design, not starting points.

I apply a structured diagnostic approach — the Value Operating System — to surface where operating model debt has accumulated, where capability gaps are being masked by workarounds, and which design choices will unlock the most value in the shortest time. This means leadership teams get clarity on what to fix first, not a comprehensive redesign of everything.

Across engagements I have supported £300m+ of cumulative cost savings and value capture, including enterprise operating model design in asset management, multi-country post-acquisition integration in PE-backed portfolios, and large-scale productivity improvement in regulated financial services.

We typically engage for focused periods at points of complexity, post-deal transition, or operating model reset — working alongside CEOs, COOs, CIOs, CFOs, and PE sponsors to create alignment and confidence before committing to execution.

My aim is not to own delivery indefinitely, but to ensure it starts on a footing that can succeed. I operate independently, often via trusted consulting firms, and work across large corporates, complex and regulated organisations, and PE-backed businesses where execution risks and time pressures are high.

Typical engagements range from a focused two to four week diagnostic to a six to twelve month advisory or interim role, depending on the complexity and the client’s internal capacity.
